Rock On!

What a difference sheetrock makes.  Here is the kitchen looking toward where the kitchen range will sit.

The kitchen sink will be on this wall, probably with upper cabinets as well.  Pantry and entry to the bath to the left of the sink, with the electrical panel on the back wall.

Kitchen refrigerator inset with a built in cabinet next to it.  I think we will be putting in bench seating under the window for the kitchen table.

The above shot is taken from the kitchen nook, looking towards the sink.  This photo shows where we had to lower the ceiling for the upstairs plumbing drain.  We were able to utilize that space for additional lighting, even though they will be can lights (not very pioneer-like!).

More sheetrock in the downstairs bath looking into Ellen's room.

Here is the dining room, all nice and clean.  No more peeling wallpaper.

Another shot of the dining room looking towards the kitchen.

We have a propane heating stove ordered to be placed here in the parlor.  We will be putting in a tile surround and an elevated floor for the stove.

Going upstairs we will be keeping the bead-board.

The upstairs hallway looking towards Thelma's room.

Isabelle's room, very bright and sunny.

Above and below shot of the playroom/third bedroom.

Thelma's room.  We kept the little closet and original door.

And finally, looking downstairs.  Thanks for slogging through all my rock photos!  Having been out of town for a couple weeks, I had not seen the finished walls.  I'm totally pleased with the results, it is beginning to look like a real house on the inside!
