Day Off

Not much going on today.  Tomorrow will be the first day of our new hired hand, Orin.  Can't go much wrong with a name like that!  He and Albert will be tearing down the chimneys.  They definitely are not worth saving, no lining in them and totally crumbly at the top.  We will probably be putting in a gas stove anyway.  I know it should be a real wood burning fireplace to be in keeping with the pioneer house but convenience may win out.
